Virtual Reality is an amazing concept which came into reality 6 years ago. VR devices became the headlines in tech world and were released to mainstream market. Devices like Oculus rift, HTC vibe and PlayStation VR were launched with few tech demos and quite a few fully fledged games. Devices like google cardboard and galaxy gear VR, focused on mobile platform, were also released. "The future is here" is what the fancy tagline used by the people when they were released. But "Is the future really here?" is the bigger question that needs to be answered till now. In this article, or rather a short post, I would like to share my opinion on the state of Virtual reality in the present and in upcoming years.
